My other Panama fits very snugly, which is useful in a breeze, but it does leave a mark round the head, when I take it off. This Trilby (and the subject of this review) is slightly loose, compared to what I’m used to, but it fits comfortably enough. I have pushed my ears slightly into the hat to improve the situation - i.e. to make the fit more snug. Will I be laughed at on the promenade? I’m delighted with what is, to me, the novel look of this Panama trilby. I think I’ll keep it on for a while longer, while remaining inside, as it’s C36 outside.
