Do I need an account to place an order? 

You do not need to open an account with Peter Christian to purchase our products. Simply checkout as a guest when you make your purchase. However, if you register with us, you will be able to save your billing and delivery addresses and other details for faster shopping in the future, as well as view your online order history. Please note that we do not store your credit/debit card details.

The item I want is not in stock. 

If you like something on our website that is not yet in stock, you may enter your email address to be notified when the item is back in stock.  

When must I return unwanted sale items? 

If you wish to return reduced priced (i.e. sale category) products to us, they must be sent back within 30 days of receipt. Please notify us of your intention to return any items within 14 days of receipt.

Why didn't I get a discount on my first order? 

You should've received an email with a discount code after signing up to our mailing list. Please check your inbox and junk mail folders. You must enter your discount code on the Your Bag page. If you haven't received the email, don't worry, just contact our customer services team on +44 (0)1273 492 287.

How do I reset my password? 

If you have forgotten your password, you can click here to reset it or follow the 'Forgot your password?' link on the 'Sign In' page.

What methods of payment does Peter Christian accept? 

We accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa; these payments are secured by Braintree. Alternatively you can pay with PayPal, ApplePay or GPay. Your payment will be taken via a secure portal when you finalise your order during the checkout process.

How much will I have to pay in tax and duties? 

By default, product prices are displayed as UK VAT inclusive until you proceed to the checkout. Taxes and duties are then calculated according to your shipping destination and itemised at the bottom of the Order Summary page. Please note that UK VAT will only be applied to orders sent within the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands) and to all countries we ship to in Europe.

Can I add items to an existing order? 

We regret that it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. A new order must be placed for additional items.

Where is my order? 

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours (Monday–Friday), except for items that are on backorder or where tailoring has been requested. Estimated delivery times are for guidance only and commence from the date of dispatch. After your order has been dispatched, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number. If your order was placed over the telephone, you would have needed to request email confirmation at that time to benefit from this service.

How do I return or exchange an item? 

If you wish to return an item for any reason, we will exchange it, or issue a refund (subject to the goods being in as-new condition and returned within 30 days). Returning an item is simple. With every order we provide a FREEPOST returns label, which enables you to easily return goods to Peter Christian via the Post Office (within the UK) free of charge. When handing over the parcel at the Post Office, ask for a 'Proof of Posting' slip. You can use the box or mailbag that your item was sent in for ease of returns.

Can I track a parcel that I’ve returned to Peter Christian?

Yes! When handing over your return at the Post Office, ask for a 'Proof of Posting' slip. Then visit Royal Mail's website and select 'Track Your Item'. Enter in your barcode number, found on your 'Proof of Postage' slip. The location of your returned parcel will be displayed.

Where is 'My Bag' shown on the website?

Your Bag can be found at the top of most pages of the Peter Christian website. The shopping bag icon is to the right of the search bar.'

Where do I enter my promotion code?

A promotion code box is located on Your Bag page. Enter your promotion code in the box and click 'Apply'.

What is a French bearer? 

A French Bearer is a special button behind the fly which helps to hold the front of trousers flat. This takes the strain off the fly which keeps your trousers looking smarter.

Can I order my trousers tailored to fit? 

Peter Christian can tailor your trouser leg length or add brace buttons for just £10 per pair. Please request this service when ordering by telephone or using the order form in our catalogue. This service is not available for online orders. We regret that trousers that we have altered specifically for you cannot be returned.

What is the rise of your trousers? 

The trouser rise is the distance between the middle of the crotch seam to the top of the waistband. Most of our trousers are generous in the rise measurement, our jeans are slightly shorter. We are unable to alter the rise of our trousers. If you would like an exact measurement, please let us know which style and size you like, and we can measure it for you.
