Not so much a shoe, as style icon. Loafers landed on that cushion sole in the 1930's, by the fifties they had become the "Ivy League" shoe of choice, later adopted by the "Modernists" of the sixties and now a classic that every man should have in his wardrobe. Peter Christian have faithfully produced a new oxblood and navy authentic loafer with hand sewn construction, full grain leather uppers, leather lining and comfortable leather cushioned sole.

Beautifully made shoes with a perfect shine which are made to slide your feet in and out in comfort and give your feet a firm hold. Certainly these shoes are the best I have ever owned.

They look good, However, the material is hard and inflexible. Even with the help of a large shoehorn I could not put them on. My normal size is 9 but I ordered 91/2 just to be sure, and this is what I received. I'll never order shoes from Peter Christian again. Appalling. William Lyne
