For me, Peter Christian's strength lies in knowing its audience. It strikes a good balance through its selection of clothes - enough to choose from, but not so many that you get confused/bored. It provides interesting pattern and texture, but also natural colours which are increasingly difficult to find. It avoids the fuddy duddy, but does not stray too far from classic, well-cut staples which can be dressed up or down and which will last. As a brand it encourages confidence in being an older man, pleasure in being well-dressed (but not stuffy) and the simple enjoyment of looking good - all at a reasonable price.
