Dear Customers,

Unfortunately we operate in a market in which misleading pricing has become the norm. Some of our competitors employ what we believe are deceptive tactics to encourage sales. We often see what is known in the trade as the Buy to Discount model. The ubiquitous strikethrough prices at the start of a season are an easy way to spot this.

You may notice sale banners all over their websites or comparisons to so-called “normal” high street prices. These companies are able to make these dubious claims as they have obscure shops and websites where overly high prices have been displayed, but which attract no sales.

This is a shabby way to treat customers and I promise we will never deceive you in this way.

We price fairly so we can offer our customers excellent value but not at the expense of the craftsmen and women who make the garments. We use the highest quality fabrics which is difficult to convey via catalogue or website, but we trust you will feel the difference when you wear our clothing.

We never inflate our prices to then have spurious sales. We simply believe in offering excellent quality clothing at a fair price, all year round.
