The warm, wool fabric in our Cavalry Twill trousers is woven by passing the 'weft' threads to give the characteristic diagonal parallel ribbed pattern. The space between the ribs is known as 'the wale'. It has to be just right to be a true 'twill'. The sophisticated weave makes the fabric more pliable, it shrugs off creases and drapes handsomely.

Every good Hussar should have a secret weapon and these trousers have two hidden elastic inserts which expand or relax to keep you comfortable. Officer class material without the cavalry charge.
